“In the Spring I spent much time amongst the icebergs with my cameras. One berg had a wonderful cavern, which I christened ‘Aladdin’s Cave’.”
The Great White Silence (1924) dir. Herbert Ponting
It’s when you know there’s is something you must do, and you also know, beyond any doubt, that it’s impossible for you to do those things. How did you escape? I didn’t exactly escape.
Porto (2016) dir. Gabe Klinger
I love how shaun of the dead and hot fuzz have very similar main types of humour in their core, but the world’s end just “you know what? NEW PLAN”
because if shaun is mostly repetitions (“red on you”, their plan to save barbara and liz and go to the winchester) with a bit of foreshadowings; and the hot fuzz is mostly foreshadowings with a bit of repetitions (you’re a doctor, deal with it)
the world’s end going mostly on misunderstanding
gary and oliver talking about bike
I didn’t drink for years - wow you must be thirsty
the whole “I don’t even know what pronoun is” chat
“WHAT THE FUCK IS WTF????”
and in actions too. like the moment where sam thought gary gave her an arm and he asked for cigarettes.
it’s just so funny for me. like, the world’s end always feels kinda aside. and I think this is the part of reason. but it still feels like the funniest form of humour in cornetto for me.
We promised the god of evil, the god of those who return from the netherworld to avenge past wrongs. We promised to get revenge by drinking blood, and we were allowed to take human form. But she broke her promise.
藪の中の黒猫 Yabu no Naka no Kuroneko // Kuroneko (Black Cat) 1968 dir. Kaneto Shindô
actually my favourite connection between cornetto movies is the fact they banned easy word for main point of movie. in every movie.
- don’t call them zombies it’s ridiculous
- actually it’s a police officer not a policeman
- well robot is a Czechs word for slave and we are not slaves
convinient words? never meet her, sorry

follow me on twitter / instagram / shop / buy a wallpapers or leave a tipThis piece was drawn on the new tablet provided to me by XpPen! This is an Artist Pro 16 (Gen 2) and below you can read my thoughts on it!~
Pros:
- the display is great, and the textured feel is nice to draw on
- love that it only uses 2 usb-c cables but can run off one like im doing!~
- the included shortcut remote is sooo handy, i love the scroll wheel. it took awhile to get used to but i love it now
- its rly lightweight which i love for easy transport
Cons:
- no way to mount the tablet so you have to use the provided back legs/lay on a different stand
and tbh thats its the artist glove provided is also huge but thats rly no big deal lol
i think if any artist is looking to upgrade to a screen tablet, this would be a great one. I’ve used larger and smaller tablets in the past and this one feels perfect for drawing space i’ll actually use too! overall i was happy with the tablet
